Can I really download full DVD quality movies at HouseWivesZone?

Yes, you can. All our movies are encoded up to 2200kbps Windows Media Format, which far exceeds the DVD mpeg specification. Infact some of our newer movies are starting to utilize high defnition, widescreen resolutions (720p+, as opposed to DVD's 420p - bear in mind this only applies to the more recent productions.). We also provide our movies in MPEG, MPG4 formats as well. So if you are a Mac or Linux user you will have no problems viewing our movies. Video iPod and PSP (Sony Playstation Portable) users will be able to use our MPG4 format! Of course you can download all of these formats, there are absolutely no restrictions!

So can I download these movies and burn them to DVD to watch on my TV/Home Cinema

Of course you can, and if you download the Premium High Bandwidth Versions (our movies can be downloaded in many formats, for your convience) then they will be displayed with excellent audio and video qualities.

No, you do not. Our highest quality movies (premium bandwidth) utilise Windows Media Player codecs, and these movies should run on both Windows PCs and Macintosh OS X computers. Although we provide other formats (such as MPEG 4 for Apple Video iPods), we do not require the installation of any extra video codecs/applications or any other such software.

However for best possible performance and compatibilitity, make sure you always have the latest Windows Media Player installed.
